I knew I wanted to be a plastic surgeon since I was 16. It was at that time that I exposed myself to the practice of surgery by attending the daily activities of a surgical clinic.  From the day I witnessed my first operation I knew inside me this was my calling in my life.

My goal was fulfilled with Dr. Luis O. Vasconez. I had the great fortune and the privilege to be trained by that great man.  He trained me to be an efficient and effective plastic surgeon and always aspire to be a gentleman.  He also trained me and inspired me to practice with humility and humanity.

In my practice I educate my patients. This is actually the original meaning of the word “doctor” in Latin. It meant a teacher. It is easy nowadays to get plastic surgery   but it is equally important to be properly educated about them and have healthy motives behind the desire to get a plastic surgery operation.
