This young lady presented to me with a common problem in plastic surgery. She has had liposuction previously by another plastic surgeon and she developed skin depressions and contour irregularities of her buttocks. As an educational point I would like to mention that liposuction of the buttocks area is rarely advised because the buttocks are very prone to develop these skin depressions.
I performed liposuction, fat harvesting and transfer to those problem areas of her buttocks. The result that you see is about 6 weeks following the operation. She was much happier with the contour and appearance of her buttocks.
In this case I also harvested stem cells from her own and then I mixed the stem cells with the fat that I injected to correct the depressions of the skin.
